Since 1976, the Montessori Children’s Center in Parkmerced has provided authentic Montessori education to generations of San Francisco children.
In 2024, we lost our founding director, Judith Flynn, and, with her passing, our school was abruptly shut down. As the parents of a former student, and, as advocates for Montessori education, we felt called to bring the school back to the community.
As we prepare to reopen our school under new leadership, we are committed to opening children's hearts and minds to become lifelong learners and to help them develop to their greatest potential.
We are currently preparing for the final phase of our reopening at 80 Juan Bautista Circle in Parkmerced. While we do not yet have a confirmed reopening date, our team is actively working to create the highest-quality program for our students, teachers, and participating families.
